Owned vs rented visibility

Search visibility (owned) Paid ads (rented)

Old SEO is gone. Modern search is a managed system.

Chasing keywords, pumping out generic blogs, and emailing reports nobody reads doesn’t move business anymore, and a lot of it is now actively penalized. Modern search rewards genuine authority across every place your customers look.

Old SEO Tactics that aged out

  • Keyword stuffing and exact-match pages
  • Buying links by the hundred
  • Thin, scaled content for every phrase
  • Ranking a page, ignoring whether it converts
  • Monthly reports full of vanity metrics

Modern SEO A search system

  • Technical foundations search engines trust
  • Commercial pages mapped to what people buy
  • Local visibility and Google Business Profile
  • Useful content that earns authority and citations
  • Conversion paths and reporting on real outcomes

Ads rent attention. They don’t build an asset.

Paid ads can bring traffic quickly, and they’re great for that. But the leads stop the day the budget stops, and the price of every click keeps climbing. Depending on paid clicks for all of your growth is a structurally fragile position.

The core difference: rented vs owned

We’re not anti-ads. Most of our clients keep running them. We’re against depending on them, so we build the owned visibility that keeps working when the ad account is switched off.

AI tools can write. They can’t earn authority.

Most “AI SEO” tools generate content or track where you appear. Useful, but tracking is measurement, not movement, and a pile of AI drafts won’t get you chosen.

AI answers don’t invent recommendations. They cite sources that already have genuine authority. Google’s own guidance is blunt about it: optimizing for AI search is still SEO. There’s no magic schema, and you can ignore the gimmicks being sold as secret sauce. Meanwhile, mass-produced content is a liability under Google’s scaled-content-abuse policy, whether a human or a machine wrote it.

  • Deciding your offer and service strategy
  • Building the pages people actually buy from
  • Fixing what’s technically broken on your site
  • Earning third-party validation and citations
  • Strengthening local signals and reviews
  • Improving the paths that turn visits into enquiries

The work a subscription can’t do, and the work that actually moves modern search.

Why fully managed SEO works better

Tools and templates don’t replace strategy and execution. The hard part isn’t generating generic content. It’s deciding what should exist, building it properly, making it rank, making it convert, and improving it against real competitors.

Strategy first

We map the services and offers people actually search and buy, then build the architecture to win them, not a generic checklist.

Execution that ships

Technical fixes, pages, content, local signals, and authority work done on a steady cadence, not a one-time blast that fades.

Measured in outcomes

We track leads, calls, and booked work, and keep improving based on what the data and your competitors are doing.

What we manage

Real work, not theory

We don’t have a wall of client logos yet. We’re early, and deliberately taking on a small number of clients. So instead of borrowed proof, here’s our own work: products and sites we designed, built, and run the SEO on ourselves.

Don’t take our word for it. Open them, search the terms they target, and inspect the build. No traffic screenshots, no invented numbers, just the execution you’d be hiring.
Programmatic + local SEOLive site

Find Global Entry

A Global Entry appointment-alert service. The hard SEO problem: rank for high-intent searches across a long list of real enrollment locations.

Programmatic SEOLocal SEOStructured dataAI visibility
  • Programmatic location pages built from a real dataset of 119 CBP enrollment centers, plus city-level pages targeting exact appointment-intent queries.
  • High-intent commercial pages mapped to how people actually search: appointment finder, alerts, interview slots, availability, wait times.
  • Organization, FAQ, and Breadcrumb structured data on every page, with a dynamically generated sitemap and clean canonical/robots rules.
  • AI-visibility groundwork: crawl access explicitly opened to answer engines like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot.
Commercial + comparison SEOLive site

VinPanda

A vehicle-history-report service in a category dominated by big incumbents. The job: win buyer-intent and comparison searches without a household-name budget.

Commercial pagesComparison SEOContent strategyConversion paths
  • A programmatic landing-page system covering competitor-alternative, check-type, record-type, and vehicle-type searches from one maintained data source.
  • Buyer-intent commercial pages with the offer and price stated in the title, plus comparison tables built for shoppers deciding between providers.
  • Product, FAQ, Breadcrumb, and Article structured data generated from the same content the page shows, so schema and copy never drift apart.
  • A content library of guides mapped to the used-car buyer journey, wired together with curated internal links and a free-tool-to-paid-report conversion path.

Rocketlabs

Our own studio site, and the place we keep our standards honest: the structure and technical baseline we hold our work to.

Site architectureTechnical SEOMetadata & OGConversion structure
  • A clear commercial information architecture: capabilities, products, portfolio, and trust pages built around what a serious buyer needs to see.
  • Per-page titles, meta descriptions, and Open Graph cards set deliberately for every route, not left to defaults.
  • A clean technical baseline: server-rendered pages, a real sitemap and robots rules, and no build-step bloat slowing the site down.
  • Conversion-focused page structure that routes visitors toward a single, clear next step.

These are our own products and projects, shown as demonstrated capability, not client case studies. We don’t publish traffic or ranking numbers we can’t put in front of you.

Who you’re actually hiring

Get More SEO is the search practice of Rocketlabs, the small studio that designed, built, and runs the sites above. You work directly with the people doing the work, not an account manager relaying tickets to a junior pool.

We take on a small number of clients on purpose, so every engagement gets senior attention. After your initial term it’s month to month, so we have to keep earning it. We don’t promise rankings we can’t control. We promise the work, the method, and honest reporting on what it produces.

  • Senior people on your account, not a sales-to-junior handoff
  • A deliberately small client list, so you get real attention
  • Month-to-month after the initial term, never an open-ended lock-in
  • Straight talk on what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s next
  • One accountable team for strategy, build, content, and reporting

Who this is for, and who it isn’t

This is a serious monthly investment. It pays back best for a specific kind of business, and we’d rather tell you up front than waste your time.

A fit This is for you if

  • You run an established, profitable service or local business
  • One to a few new customers a month from search pays the retainer back many times over
  • You want to own durable visibility, not rent every click forever
  • You can invest across 6 to 12 months and treat SEO as infrastructure
  • The owner or marketing lead is reachable and bought in

Not a fit This isn’t for you if

  • You’re pre-revenue or need leads this week
  • You want to rank #1 next week, or pay by the hour for tasks
  • Your budget is under $1,500 a month right now
  • You want to hand it off and never look at a report

If that last column is you, we’re genuinely not the right fit yet, and we’ll say so. We work best with businesses where a new customer is worth real money:

HVAC Roofing Plumbing Contractors & home services Dentists & orthodontists Med spas & clinics Law firms Consultants & B2B services Multi-location & franchises

Questions worth asking

Can I trust you with no big client list yet?

Fair question, and a straight answer: we are early and deliberately taking on a small number of clients. So instead of a wall of logos, we show you our own work to inspect, the exact method we use, and a clear scope with no long lock-in. Open the sites we have built, search the terms they target, and judge the execution for yourself. We would rather earn your trust that way than with a borrowed testimonial.

How is this different from an agency that sends reports but no new business?

We report on the things that pay your bills: calls, qualified enquiries, booked consults, and sales, not rankings screenshots. Rankings are how we get there, never the promise. And because we work month to month after your initial term, we have to keep earning the renewal.

Do you guarantee #1 rankings or that AI tools will recommend me?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google’s or an AI engine’s output, so guaranteed rankings and guaranteed AI visibility are red flags, not features. What we guarantee is the work, the method, and transparent reporting on how it moves your enquiries.

How long until I see results?

SEO compounds, so we will be honest: meaningful results typically build over the first 6 to 12 months, with the strongest returns in year two and beyond. In the early months you will see leading indicators: technical fixes shipped, content live, rankings and impressions climbing, and the first enquiries.

Should I just run Google Ads instead?

Ads buy speed, and they are great for that. But the leads stop the day the budget stops, and click costs keep rising. SEO builds an owned asset that keeps producing after the spend stops. Most of our clients run both; they just do not want to depend on renting every customer forever.

Isn’t SEO dead now that AI answers everything?

It is the opposite. AI answers do not invent recommendations; they cite sources that already have genuine authority. The work that earns those citations (clean technical foundations, real expertise, third-party validation, citable content) is exactly the work we do.

What do I need to provide?

Access to your website and Google Business Profile, timely approvals on content and changes, and your knowledge of the business and the customers you want. We handle the strategy and execution; your input keeps it sharp and accurate.
